Do you think John Edwards has the backbone for the nation’s highest office?
From http://truepolitics.us -

An AP story quotes Elizabeth Edwards, the wife of Sen. John Edwards, as saying the following, “I don’t know where it [Republican hatred of Hillary Clinton] comes from. I don’t begin to understand it. But you can’t pretend it doesn’t exist, and it will energize the Republican base. Their nominee won’t energize them, Bush won’t, but Hillary as the nominee will. It’s hard for John to talk about, but it’s the reality.”

Everything that Mrs. Edwards says in that quote is true. Everything. Including the part about it being something hard for Sen. Edwards to talk about. That’s the theme of the Edwards campaign. When there is something that requires backbone to say, let Elizabeth say it instead of John.

No. Another rich boy like Al Gore who hasn’t worked in his life and wants us to believe he feels our pain. He just want to buy cut rate carbon credits.

No way,We are going to see, God move in this election, big time.

Suggestion by Serena
Nope. Funny how Elizabeth is another Hillary and yet she doesn’t understand the Republican hatred of Hillary. Is it because she is so much like her?

Mitt Romney and John Edwards : The fakest candidates?
Does anyone else think that these two men are fakest candidates running for president?

Romney talks so much on the surface and contradicts himself too much to my liking. Also hes changed every social issue stance since deciding to run for president. Its like he’s made a complete 360 on issues like gay marriage, abortion, and global warming. Hes gone from socially liberal to uberconservative in about a year. WTF!

John Edwards with his metrosexual self always talking about poverty while he chills at his mansion. Why not lead by example? It seems like he’s always trying to hard to put himself out there. He comes off very disingenous.

What do you all think? Just wanting some healthy American debate.

I have always believed Romney to be more conservative than he claimed when running for Governor in Mass. So I have no trouble believing him to be quite conservative now. My problem with him is not in his “flip-flopping” its more that I want to see him attack more on these issues. If he stands with America on immigration and many of these other issues, I want to see him be the champion of those causes and not just an agreeable bystander. He needs to stop being afraid of McCain, and stand up to this crazy hot head. He isn’t my top pick as yet, but he isn’t out of the running for me either.

Edwards I don’t really like. But then I am a Republican. I do think he is bending to the left, and doing so artificially. I think he is learning that was quite a mistake from his new poll numbers.

Edwards really does not have a chance, where Romney may indeed have a chance. We will have to see where this all goes.

Mitt is a very screwed up dude ! Did you know that when he was over 18 he was dating a little 15yo? So what if he married her ! What ever makes a guy be attracted to little girl now days, is the same now as is it was back then. When will the people realize that ‘Mitt the Molester’ is a danger to our Democracy ! Edwards might be a bit too ‘New Age’ for the oldsters. He seems honest, but maybe a bit naive. I’m not thrilled with any candidate from either side !
